Byg dit eget TINY House (lille hus) med bæredygtige byggematerialer. Workshoppen kører fra den 24. til 28. august fra kl 08:00 til 21:00. Folkecenterets TINY House vil så vidt muligt blive bygget af organiske og genanvendelige materialer med halm, træ, ler, hør og genbrugsdøre og – vinduer.
Sustainable Building Workshop at Nordic Folkecenter for Renewable Energy

Two New Small Wind Turbines in Folkecenter’s Testfield
Nordic Folkecenter’s testfield for small wind turbines has now two new prototypes, which have been installed on July 5 and July 11. The two wind turbines have a swept area of 80 m2 and 200 m2 respectively and they will be in the test field for a period of 6 months.

Kroater i Thy
Nordisk Folkecenter har afholdt 2 ugers Vedvarende Energi-kursus for SREDNJA SKOLA BLATO, Teknisk Skole på den sydlige ø Korcula i Kroatien, beliggende nordvest for Dubrovnik. Prof. Nikola Curac, grad. mach. Eng var leder af den 9 personers store studiegruppe. Hele kurset fulgte rammerne for Europa-Kommissionens Erasmus+ program. Folkecenter har erfaringer og afholdt flere kurser under dette EU program specielt for studerende og deres underviser fra Tyrkiet. Således vil der komme tre forskellige grupper over de næste 2 måneder for at opbygge viden og erfaringer om 100 % Vedvarende Energi for fremtiden.
