ENERGY STORAGE WITH BATTERIES

Self-sufficiency in a smart way. That’s what a energy storage with batteries are. Programmed the right way it can have a great impact on your electricity bill and your climate footprint. With a market in rapid development it can be hard to find out what you need to get the energy storage system running in a sensible way.

We test batteries, inverters, battery chargers etc. to gain as much knowledge and experience as possible to advise entrepreneurs, professionals and private individuals on how best to set up systems at home / in a company.

SKIBSTEDFJORD

The installation, which includes solar cells, a LE-600 wind turbine, Cegasa batteries, battery chargers and three inverters from Victron Energy, is set up in such a way that it is possible to see, touch, follow and understand the cabling, as well as possibly the software setup.

STRAW BALE HOUSE

Amongst the sustainable buildings at Nordic Folkecenter we find the strawbale house which was built in 1998. The strawbale house has it’s own wind turbine, solar heating, battery bank and is filled with tech and ‘internet of things’ that makes it possible to program the house for any imaginable energy-scenario.

TINY HOUSE

With an installation build and wired by trainees the Tiny House is off the grid.

The house is equipped with a solar-and-wind-powered 168 Ah battery, which we expect that can cover the needs of the building (few lamps and a computer) for 2-3 days.
