Wearing badges brought from Nordic Folkecenter, employees and volunteers from JEEP Folkecenter together with Lene Høgh and Gitte Davidsen participated in the 4th in the series of Renewable Energy Conference 2024 (#REC24) in Munyonyo.
Organized by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development, Uganda, and supported by, among others, the British High Commission, Kampala, GIZ, TotalEnergies and EU.
The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Transforming Livelihoods Through Clean Energy Access’. Something special about this year’s conference is that Uganda’s religious leaders and the kingdoms are involved.
JEEP Folkecenter participated with two stands at this year’s conference, and director Ruth Kiwanuka took part in an exciting panel debate on ‘Clean Cooking’. It also debated and highlighted our @cisudk projects CAISL and SDCA.
