The SkibstedFjord Building at Nordic Folkecenter for Renewable Energy now contains an energy storage facility with batteries that gives professionals and other interested parties the opportunity to see and learn about Victron Energy and Nordic Folkecenter for Renewable Energy’s proposal for self-sufficiency with renewable energy sources and batteries in their own business / own home.
The installation, which includes solar panels, a wind turbine, batteries, battery chargers and three inverters, is set up in such a way that it is possible to see, touch, follow and understand the cabling, as well as possibly the software setup.
The new energy storage system gives us the opportunity to advise and “show and tell” about it on a more practical level, and that is needed, says data specialist Anker Mardal, who has taken on the coordinating role in the set-up:
“There is great interest in such battery systems, from both professionals and private individuals who want to explore the possibilities of self-sufficiency – either in their own business or their own home – and now we can do more than just tell; now we can show how it can be set up and how it works, and this is of decisive importance for understanding and thus also the courage to invest in it.”
If you want to see it and find out more, register for the introductory course…
Thursday 28 November at 14.00-16.30 you can learn more about the possibilities for self-sufficiency in your own home / own business.
Nordic Folkecenter invites you to an introductory course, where Anker Mardal will go in depth with the energy storage solution, which has been set up in the SkibstedFjord Building. In addition, the facilities in the Straw Bale House, where lead batteries are used, and in the Tiny House, where gel batteries are used, will also be shown and explained.
So, if you want to know about the options for self-sufficiency in your home / business, or if you already have a Victron Energy plant but want to learn more about your options, then this introductory course is for you.
