The internships below are just some proposals and they are meant as suggestions for specific educations. Every trainee who gets to Folkecenter gets assign a project which is selected together with us; in most of the cases projects are related to one’s education, but this is not necessarly a requirement (not from our side, at least). Many trainees join us on a voluntary basis, without specific obligations from their universities, meaning that they have more freedom in the topic selection.
For those having formal requirements, we discuss together a project which could suit the trainee’s and our needs, so that everybody is satisfied at the end of the period. This means that if none of the positions below are interesting for you, you are welcome to contact us with your own proposal, or you can make a general application and then the topic is discussed with you upon arrival.

No matter if it is an unsolicited application or if you are applying for one of the positions below, it is a requirement for all to sign the trainee contract. Signing the contract does not mean that the internship is approved, but just that our internship coordinator is allowed to spend time on the application (else said, if the contract is not signed, the application is not reviewed).
All the necessary information regarding internships in Folkecenter can be found here.
What does W/M/O mean?
In short: Women/Men/Other. At Folkecenter we have an inclusive approach towards our employees and trainees: we do not evaluate your application based on gender (it’s your choice, not our business!), but on qualities and potential.
We will make sure that whatever is your choice you will have equal rights, duties and respect as everyone else. And don’t worry if you don’t fulfill all the requirements of the applications below: as explained, these are just suggestions and you are always welcome to apply for the standard internship position!
We are looking forwards to a inclusive, diverse and engaged team…so why not giving it a trial? You may be our next trainee!
