General Assembly 2025
Dear member of the Folkecenter’s Support Group,
The annual general assembly of Nordic Folkecenter’s support group will take place on Sunday, June 29th at 2 pm in SkibstedFjord course center.
Please, note that in order to participate to the general assembly you should pay your membership (if you haven’t done it yet) before the day of the assembly. Instructions for the payment can be found in the invitation.
Nordic Folkecenter is currently in a very critical situation, with our existence being threatened. Therefore, we hope that you, if you have the opportunity, will consider making an extra contribution along with your membership fee. All contributions, large or small, will be received with the greatest gratitude.
We are looking forwards to your cooperation and dialogue.

JOIN THE MISSION
Nordic Folkecenter for Renewable Energy was established in 1983 with the aim of paving the way for an increased usage of renewable energies. To this day it is still our aim, and the overall mission is to create a sustainable future with renewable energies.
You can join our mission by becoming a member of the Support Group.
With your membership you contribute to the work going on at Nordic Folkecenter for Renewable Energy; testing and demonstrating renewable energies, the trainee program and excursions for the trainees, events and mediation about renewable energies, maintenance of the area and our projects with other Folkecenters around the world.
The benefits
- Invitation to events and important meetings, e.g. the yearly general assembly and Christmas dinner
- Possibility to elect some board members and the possibility to be elected as a board member
- Membership of the Folkecenter Facebook group;
- Possibility (if you are a company) to participate for free (or with a discount) to our Company Meeting Events which run together with conferences and other activities
THE COSTS
You can apply for membership in the Support Group both as an individual, a household, a company, an educational institution, an association or an organization, and the prizing is as below:
